Paranormal / Anomalous Experience (P*)

Like singlets, many multiples have had some kind of experience with anomalous occurrences (often mistakenly termed "paranormal") in the Earth world. This isn't really related to being multiple, but it's something some people have expressed an interest in keeping track of. Here's a tag where you can describe your encounters (keep in mind it refers to experiences while in the earth world; what happens in your own world, if any, does not count for this tag). If you've had experience with more than one, use a backslash to separate them.

• Ppsi   Mental phenomena: psi abilities, telepathy, empathy, clairvoyance, etc.
• Pobe   Out of body experience (astral projection), near-death experience, bilocation.
• Pphy   Physical phenomena; telekinesis, poltergeists, stigmata, materialization.
• Pext   Extraterrestrials, aliens, UFOs.
• Past   Astral plane, shamanic journeying, non-physical world, auras.
• Pcry   Cryptozoological animals (sasquatch, chupacabra, black dogs, etc.)
• Pspi   Spirits, ghosts, angels, guides, visitations (e.g. the Virgin Mary, etc.)
• Ppre   Precognition, prophetic dreams or visions, clairvoyance.
• Pmag   Magic(k), prayer, energy working, influencing reality through will.

Modifiers:

• -   No such experiences.
• !   Something we're really interested in or good at.
• +   These things tend to happen around us, but we don't experience them as something any member of our group is doing consciously or deliberately (rather, we are a "magnet for weird stuff").
• =   Believe psychic phenomena are real but have never experienced any personally.
• ~   Sure, we've had such experiences, but they're easily explainable by coincidence, autosuggestion, etc.
• #   Don't believe in the paranormal.
