The 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible with hardtop and manual gearbox sold for £27,025 having been bought at Bonhams Hendon sale earlier in the year for £23,000, a timewarp 1973 Audi 80 with less than 12,000 miles attracted £10,925, and a very nice 1965 Mini Cooper 1071 ‘S’ was the right money at £23,230. A clean Lancia Flavia Sport Zagato was £29,325 and a tidy 1971 Porsche 911E 2.4 Targa looked reasonable money at £40,250 in light of recent ‘small-bumper’ sales. On later 911s, a ’74 Carrera 2.7 made a surprisingly high £50,600, while a 1988 Turbo targa at £45,425 showed how 930 prices have been hardening. One of the two Lotus 340Rs sold, at a market-correct £24,150, and a perfect and low-mileage 2005 Honda NSX targa topped its estimate at £80,500.
