| Likes best: | To know of a place where we fit in. We have been misdiagnosed for so many years. Was diagnosed with MPD 16 years ago. We now have the "right" pysch. who specializes in MPD and without him, don't know where we would be. We hate that so many doctors "refuse" to believe that MPD people even exist. We have been called crazy, told we were pretending, but the worse thing to us was when we were told we were filled with demons. We don't understand the "link" word as we are new to using the computer. Ms. Knower is the one who is the smartest and we hope she learns fast. If anyone wants to talk or just needs someone to listen, e-mail us. Can't say who will reply, but we will always be there for MPD/DID people like us! |

| Comments: | We call ourselves "The Waltons" because of the love and protection they always had for each other. There are 26 of us to date, but more are in the dark cloud that we do not know. We would like to talk to people like us and would be very open to listening (especially Sarah) to anyone who just needs to talk, or if anyone doing research needs any more information. We DID NOT LIKE the man whose face turned from regular to a devil!!!!!!! That scared all of the little ones inside. Guess we are the only ones who were scared of him. Sarah said that a face like that should not be in a place like this because many of the ones who have MPD/DID have little ones who will also be scared of him. We have enough bad images in our head and seeing him at the end of something that we are so greatful to found.....we just don't understand. | |

| Comments: | It's such a relief to find this site. I feel so crazy even though I can usually act pretty normal. It's very lonely having to keep my Village a secret. The few people that know about it are supportive, but there's no way they could understand it. My therapist hired a specialist to supervise her once she decided that I have DID. She's always talking about it to me & asking "Who's out?" but I don't feel like I really have it. Sometimes I feel blended with other Villagers, but most of the time we are unaware of each other. I used to think I was hallucinating because sometimes I can hear them thinking. I'm not totally convinced that I'm not schizophrenic, actually. I'm going to graduate school right now for psychology. I'm going to INFILTRATE FROM WITHIN!!! When I become a psychologist, then I will be credible, and THEN I will rock the boat for my "mentally unusual" brothers & sisters. Maybe I will start my own mental hospital where people actually feel safe & respected. Take care everybody! | |

| Comments: | This web page is just *GREAT*! I've known a few multiple people, but they were all abuse survivors, so I assumed that was where alters came from (because that's what the media told me). Now I'm questioning that, along with many of the other things I thought I knew about multiplicity. I think that people who share a body have many things they can teach people like me... how to communicate, how to set boundaries and share resources and make plans and set mutually compatible goals. Those in our society who think there's something wrong with having a house full of people are the insane ones! Sometimes I find it so hard to relate to people in different bodies because there's so little we can share compared to members of the same household. And having to use my one personality to deal with all the people I have to interact with and all the points of view I have to understand... it really wears me out sometimes!
