We come to tell our stories...We have dropped most mainstream media accounts of multiplicity due to the overwhelming amount of negative portrayals. Some of these are very patronizing and must have seemed insulting even to people who had MPD/DID. Instead, this section is now devoted to accounts of personal experience. We need to tell our own stories, not have our words sliced, diced and served up on a psychiatric platter by some third-rate hack of a so-called journalist who thinks "verification" means "see what the other newspapers are reporting."If you want to read and hear some of the early accounts of multiple personality disorder/ dissociative identity disorder, you can find them on Early Accounts. This is not a place for abuse histories or narratives. We are calling for accounts of your personal experiences as multiples, as persons who share a physical body. What do you see, hear, smell, taste? Do you co-run? Do you have a "peanut gallery"? Where do you go when you're not up front? What is your own world like? Can you describe it? Everyone has something different. Some people have no subjective world at all. What must that be like? Please EMAIL your stories by filling out our email form. HTML not required! Just send your text.
Amorpha's Coming Out Plural Amorpha invite you to use their anonymous mail form to tell your stories about coming out, or wanting to. Break the silence and speak your truth! Help out both singlets and other plurals by telling us your experiences, tips, and suggestions for coming out. Smoodged Alters By Bob King of Firewheel Collective.
Beyond The Gates For discussing subjective worlds in the context of multiplicity, but singlets are welcome too!
